Ms. Dodson began sketching her visions while growing up in the Midwest.  At no time did she ever think she had talent until others began noticing her ability to transform an exact vision onto paper. She then realized how profoundly art can touch and affect people on many different levels.  While much of her adolescence was spent moving around quite a bit, it gave her the opportunity to encounter many people along the way.
